circa 1795, with round frozen 2in. barrels, false rifling at muzzles, the top barrel with a triangular side-mounted sprung bayonet released via a catch on the action-body, border and scroll engraved square-form boxlock action with central hammer and concealed trigger, sliding safe to top-tang and probable replacement chequered walnut bag-shaped butt, cleaned, some shallow pitting
